Meet Rolex

Hello Friends,

On October 23, 2018, we adopted a puppy! We are fur parents! After a month and half, he was able to come home with us. Rolex is a border collie mix (his momma is a border collie, but no one knows what his daddy is...still trying to figure that out) and 3 months old. He loves to PLAY, CUDDLE, EAT, and CUDDLE!

The first night he was in the living room, but would not stop howling. So we moved him into our bedroom. He was whining but eventually fell asleep. For the past 3 nights, he has been sleeping in our room. The first two nights were rowdy, he kept waking up and playing with his toy or scratching the pee pad in his crate. Yesterday he was up at 5AM....was whining at 5:30AM to take him out to do his business...Finally, last night he slept the whole night and didn't wake up until we did!! Woohooo!

We are currently trying to crate train him. He had one accident so far. We believe it was the second night, he pooped in the living room. We've been trying to take him out in our backyard so he can do his business. He did peed on the pee pad twice so far (the adoption place trained him to pee on the pee pad. He wasn't allowed to go outside since he didn't get his third shot yet)....not what we wanted, but it's better than the carpet...

So far we think he loves his new home. He has been roaming around and biting everythinggggggg...Oh, he also has been scratching all over his body lately. We think he might be allergic to outside/grass?? He still eating the same food from previous place. We tried to look for fleas on him, but couldn't find any...so we don't know what is causing his intense itch. Last night, we gave him a water bath and that helped soothe the itch. If you know what is the cause of this, please let us know!! We want to help him feel better!!

This is our first pet together, if you have any advice we would love to hear it!!
